Orthopedic Physical Therapist (Manual Specialist), North West Return 2 Work PLLC, (position located in Lynnwood, Washington): The Orthopedic Physical Therapist (Manual Specialist) will apply advanced knowledge of physical treatment to provide clients with relief from complex orthopedic and neurological pain. The key responsibilities of the Orthopedic Physical Therapist (Manual Specialist) will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop individually designed physical therapy programs for each client to maintain, improve, and restore physical functioning based on client’s physical and personal needs.
  • Provide an accurate, detailed physical evaluation and assessment prior to the client’s entrance to their respective
    program.
  • Provide education to team, patient, and/or groups of patients regarding physical therapy related topics; Coordinate treatment regimens and programs with the client and other members of the team.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, client-care planning, and/or  program development meetings.
  • Provide reassessment and follow-up assessment with development of a plan for the client’s independent home program, as applicable.
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest research and state-of-the art care to address injured worker and chronic pain populations.
  • Maintain accurate and pertinent records of treatments and changes to the client’s status.

The minimum requirements for the position include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, and a minimum of two years of orthopedic physical therapy experience, including working with chronic pain patients in an outpatient setting. Must have or must be eligible for a Washington State Physical Therapy License.
